Error "ftd2xx drivers are not installed" for communicating with c-pod for sending serial trigger
Hi Sebastiaan and colleagues,
I am trying to use OpenSesame to send triggers to an fNIRS device through the c-pod. I installed the pyxid2 and ftd2xx:
and it seems that both packages are in the list of OpenSesame packages:
But when I run the experiment (including the inline code for sending the trigger), I get an error that the ftd2xx is not installed:
I wonder whether you have any suggestion how I can solve this problem.

I'm not familiar with this device, but I suspect that, in addition to installing the Python libraries, you also need to install a separate set of drivers, which you can presumably download from the URL provided in the error message.
