Post hoc tests for LMM in JASP

Hi all,

Can anyone help me understand how to perform post-hoc tests for an LMM in JASP? I cannot understand how to do this from the guidance in the software. I believe that this can be done under the "Estimated Marginal Means" option, using contrasts, but I cannot understand how this is done in practice. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

  • Thanks!

  • Hi Tom,

We are currently preparing an article that will provide more guidance on operating the Mixed Effect module and we will definitely include a section about the contrasts settings.

The latest release also includes a new example analysis, "Larks and Owls", that describes many of the Mixed Effect module's options, including the contrasts. If you could take a look, it might provide you with initial guidance, and I can help you answer more specific questions later.

    Cheers,

    Frantisek

  • Hi Frantisek,

Many thanks for coming back to me on this - I will take a look and come back to you if I have any more specific questions.

    Thanks,
