SPACE in loop table becomes "0" in the web version
Hi All,
I am setting up an acceptability judgment task in which the participants will see a context divided over two lines, and then the sentence that they have to judge appears. My issue is that some contexts are shorter than others and splitting a short context over two lines might throw the participant off.
I thus tried putting a few empty spaces in the second context line fo the short items. This works well on my local version, but it becomes a "0" in the second line when I test it in a browser.
Is there a way to set up cells in the loop table to be empty?
Thank you!

Hi @m.vel,
Could be that empty spaces are ignored and that variable is somehow interpreted as a numerical value in that case. Hard to tell without seeing the task. Can you upload it here (if it's a long task, upload the a cut-down version)?
Which version of Open Sesame and OSWeb are you using?
Fabrice.
Hi Fabrice,
I am using OpenSesame 3.3.14, OSWeb 1.4.13.
The task is uploaded here.
Hi Fabrice,
Did you by any chance had the time to look into this? Thank you either way!
Marta
Hi @m.vel ,
Yes, I see. I'll look into why this happens exactly, but for now a workaround is to use the HTML code for spaces:
.Does that help?
