Seeking Guidance for Comment Deletion on Forum
Hi,
I'm delighted to contribute to this forum, but I have some fundamental questions.
1. I've realised that I've posted some comments more than once. Could you advise me on how to delete these repetitions?
2. I inadvertently clicked 'post comment' when the input box was empty. Although it's within the editing window (1 hour), I've been unable to delete it.
I hope someone might be able to offer some guidance. Thank you.

I'm guessing you mean the comments in this discussion? If so, I just deleted them. (The editing and deletion options for users are limited, because spambots often post and then modify later.)
And don't worry if you have a few empty or redundant comments. That's not the end of the world ;-)

Thank you ever so much for your swift reply and for addressing the issue with the duplicate comments. It's rather enlightening to understand the rationale behind the restrictions on editing and deletion.
Also, your reassurances regarding the occasional blunder, such as an empty or repeated comment, are most appreciated. I shall endeavour to be more careful in future to prevent any accidental posts.
