opensesamerun fullscreen doesn't work (Ubuntu 22.04)
in OpenSesame
Hello,
I recently updated to OpenSesame 4 (on Ubuntu 22.04) and noticed that I can't run the experiment in fullscreen with opensesamerun. The window title bar with "OpenSesame (PsychoPy backend)" doesn't disappear.
I can still run the experiment in fullscreen if I open opensesame and then use the "Run in Fullscreen" button, so it's not an urgent issue.
Thank you.

Hi zgolot,
So, it runs with opensesamerun when using windowed mode? Have you also tried different backends?
@sebastiaan, is that intentional? Or did opensesamerun break during the update?

Hi @zgolot and @eduard ,
Yes, thanks for pointing this out. This appears to be a regression in
opensesamerunand should be updated in an upcoming maintenance release. (In the process, I also noticed thatopensesamerunis actually not exposed as a program in the Ubuntu packages.)In the meanwhile, you can also run experiments through the no-GUI Python library, which was introduced in OpenSesame 4.0:
