problem with video in psycho back-end
Hello everyone!
I am currently trying to build an experiment, where i will present a video and after that i will have an RSVP task. I am facing an issue though, as the video can't play correctly. The first frame appears and after that nothing. I am using the psycho back-end and the media_player_mpy plug-in. I tried switching to legacy and the video played correctly but with this back-end i faced a problem with the RSVP. The letters are not presented correctly with the duration i need for my experiment (15ms each). I am using Opensesame 3.3.9 and python 3.7.6. Any help would be valuable!!!

Yes, this is a known issue with the
media_player_mpy: the psycho backend often doesn't work. The only solution is, as you've found already, to use either the legacy or expyriment backend. If the timing is off with these backends, you can adjust the presentation durations until they match what you are looking for (and try this on the actual lab computer!).— Sebastiaan
