Chain with SEM?

dem60 ~ ind60
dem65 ~ ind60 + dem60
The above is as in the tutorial. But I tried to do a longer chain of such regressions. For example:
dem60 ~ ind60
dem65 ~ ind60 + dem60
dem69 ~ ind60 + dem60 + dem65
But it doesn't seem to be letting me. Is there any way to do such a longer chain?

I don't know your data but the syntax looks fine, what error do you get?
