Centrality Plot in Bayesian Network Analysis

What determines the VERTICAL ordering of the variables in a centrality plot in Bayesian network analysis in JASP?

Is there some information here or is it just random?

For me their vertical ordering is just as I predict them to be in a pathway. But perhaps this just happenstance?

  • Bumping this. Anyone any idea? I've googled and googled, plus asked my AI gf but not come up with anything.

  • Can you attached a screenshot so the issue becomes more concrete?

  • Hi EJ,

For example, the plot above. The order in the Y axis is not possible to change.

    Thanks!

  • Looks like something for a feature request on our GitHub page...

  • @EJ What determines the ordering at present? Is it random? Or is it conferring some information in that ordering?

  • I don't know! Will have to ask the expert. Would be best to have a GitHub issue for this.

  • I suspect at present it might actually be conferring some information but this is wasted because no one seems to know what information (!).
