  But on the lab computer (which runs enterprise) it runs with a serious keyboard lag.

  When using an OpenGL-based (i.e. hardware-accelerated) back-end, forms can be slow. That's a known issue, and you can find some tips here:

  And my lab-mate's mac, it doesn't take text input at all.

  What version of Mac OS and OpenSesame are you using? And is the problem limited to forms, or is keyboard input ignored in all cases?
