[bug] Key labels incorrect/missing
Hi Sebastiaan
still a big fan of your programme. It has greatly improved. Just wanted to report two minor problems (I am using the - i think - current version 2.8.0GG). I think the list of available keys for the keyboard response item needs an update. E.g. the keys for numbers 0-9 are not listed or at least listed with the incorrect label (e.g. _1 instead of plainly 1 for the non-num pad keys).
Also a very annoying bug occurs when you open the offline and or online help in the programme using the buttons in the GUI. As soon as you do that, it resets all type style settings for e.g. inline_scripts.
Cheers, M

Hi Michel,
Ah, thanks! I noticed this issue as well, but I couldn't figure out what triggered it. Indeed, it was due to the embedded webbrowser. If you want to help testing, you could replace the
QProgEditfolder in the OpenSesame folder with the latest release (>= 1.3.3) of QProgEdit:If you do this, let me know whether the issue has indeed been resolved in the latest release of QProgEdit.
There's actually no list of available keys. That would be a lot of work to create and update, especially since key names vary between back-ends and operating systems. Rather, OpenSesame introspects the back-end to find out which key names exists, and that's an imperfect guess. (Perhaps it would be an idea to indicate this clearly in the key list dialog.)
However, you can easily find out key names using a
feedbackitem, as described here:Thanks for your feedback and say hi to the lab for me.
Cheers!
Sebastiaan
