[open] Last line not logged completely

edited September 2014 in OpenSesame

On about 5 of 50 subjects run with my task the last stimulus presented is not logged completely and I can't figure out what might generate this error. Do you have any ideas about what might be happening?

here is a link at how the output looks like:

    Hi Frank,

That's very odd and should never happen. My best guess is that the experiment sometimes crashed just before it finished, and that there was still some text pending, waiting to be written to disk. This can happen, as the operating system has some control over when things are actually written to disk. (Although you can force this by 'flushing', which OpenSesame does at the end of an experiment--but only if it gets the chance to do so.)

So could that be it? Occasional hard crashes at the end of the experiment?

Please keep us posted if you encounter this problem again, or if you find a way to reproduce it reliably.

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan
