[open] Synchronisation between words and sound!! :)

edited January 2015 in OpenSesame

Hey,

I am trying to create a false memory experiment. In this experiment I am gonna show some words (all together as a list) and the participants have to remember them and recognise them in a coming testing list (7 words one by one - and the answer will be, yes I saw it// no i didn't by pressing the appropriate key) .
In the second part of the experiment, I am gonna show again some lists of words in the same way. But this time, the participants have to remberer and recognise the words given in the screen by listening a distractor word from speakers.
Unfortunately, I can't find the way to achieve a word with a dictractor-sound (which is a new word) and then next word with another sound.
Any idea?

Thank you in advance!! :) :)

    Hi,

Generally speaking, you can present a sound with a sampler and simultaneously present a word with a sketchpad. However, it's not really clear from your description what exactly you want to do. Could you provide some more details? I.e. what do you have now, what exactly do you want to achieve, and in what respect doesn't your current experiment work as you'd like it to?

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan
