[open] Opensesame interface with Acqknowledge/Biopac

edited February 2015 in OpenSesame

Is the interface between Acqknowledge/Biopac and Opensesame possible using a single computer? Also without the STP100C?
I'm planing a new a fear conditioning study. So far I have a MP150 system with the EDA100CMRI and the STM100/ISOC for electrical stimulation and only one computer. Would it be possible using a single computer and not using the STP100C?

    Hi,

I'm afraid your question is gibberish to anyone who is not familiar with these specific devices ;-) It is to me, anyway.

What exactly does your set-up look like, what do all these devices do, and what kind of information do you want to send to and from OpenSesame?

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan

    Hi,

You might want to have a look at my MPy150 Python module. This can record from those squeezy handles that you can hook up to the MP150 (no clue about the part number). This works from a single computer (the MP150 connects via ethernet).

If you have a DLL with a function to start and stop (and potentially adjust the current intensity of) the stimulator, we could add this to the MPy150 module.

    Cheers!

    Edwin
