[solved] Randomly play a certain audio-file
Hi all,
as a "n00b" in the field of programming, I need your help with the following:
for my experiment, participants will either receive a guided mindfulness meditation of 15 minutes or a book listening of 15 minutes. However. I just can't find out how to randomly assign participants so 50% will receive the mindfulness meditation and the other 50% the book listening. How do I do this?

I'm guessing that when you say 'randomly assign', you actually want to counterbalance the conditions. Is that correct? So participant 1 will do meditation, participant 2 listening, 3 mediation, etc. To do this, you can use the
subject_parityvariable, as explained here:Cheers,

Thanks, that should do the trick as well (I meant the 'real' random, not based on subject number, but this is even better I think).
