[open] canvas.fixdot shows error just in Ubuntu
I did not have any problem on mac OS but it is problematic in Ubuntu.
I don't understand error pops up because of OS.
my_canvas.fixdot(x=,y,color='red',style='small-open')
When I run this on Unbuntu
I got
TypeError: fixdot() got an unexpected keyword argument 'style'
Seems that style part does not work in here
Do you have any idea to figure this out?

Hi,
I don't have Ubuntu to test this on, but does
style = u'small-open'work? (thus, with the insertion of au).Cheers,
Josh
I tried both u'small-open' and 'small-open'. Did not work either.
Hmm, in that case the
styleparameter may be broken for the Ubuntu OS.. I take it that your code works when you remove style from the command, albeit with a fixdot that is too large? @Sebastiaan, I tried to access the fixdot code in Github, but cannot find it - can you tell us what's going on?Cheers,
Josh
It looks like you're running a very old version of OpenSesame. The
stylekeyword was introduced in 2.8.0. If you're running Ubuntu, you can easily update using the cogsci PPA:Check out SigmundAI.eu for our OpenSesame AI assistant!
