[solved] running version 3 files on machines with older opensesame
Hello everyone,
I have created an eye-tracking experiment with Opensesame 3, but the computer that I need to use has an older installation of Opensesame, that I would like to leave as is.
What can I do to overcome this problem?
I wonder whether I can use the portable version of Opensesame (is there one already available for version 3?), or whether it is better instead to install Opensesame 3 "in parallel" with the old one (is that even possible?).
Thank you in advance!
Chiara

Hi Chiara,
You can simply get the portable
.zipversion of OpenSesame 3.0.2:That way you don't have to change the installed version on the experimental PC. You can have as many versions of OpenSesame as you want--in different folders, obviously. (Whether that's a good idea in terms of organization is a different matter.)
Cheers,
Sebastiaan
