Issue with file pool

edited November 2015 in OpenSesame

Hello,

I'm having an issue with a program I've created. Using the PsychoPy backend I'm trying to create a task in which a series of stimuli (.jpgs) are presented. The program runs fine on my mac (OS X El Cpaitan) but when I try to run it on the lab PC, partway through the program a black box display instead of the intended stimuli.

Any ideas what this might be would be very appreciated!

    Hi,

This is a known issue with PsychoPy, which (I suspect) is related to memory corruption. There's not much you can do about it, I'm afraid. I haven't seen this problem with recent versions though; are you running the latest version of OpenSesame?

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan

Alright. I had originally been running on an older version but this was still a problem even after upgrading to 3.0.

Would the issue be resolved if I use fewer stimuli? Right now I'm trying to present 96 different images, but other identical tasks with only 64 images work fine.
