Data Type
I am learning JASP and in my csv file I have nominal categories, assigned as text in CSV (Excel), and ordinal and continuous categories. After loading into JASP, the nominal categories are always assigned as ordinal. When changed to nominal, the data are deleted as expected. I do I change the data categories in CSV to make nominal columns.

This is weird. JASP uses standard procedures to guess the measurement level. Can you send the offending csv file?
