Hebrew characters not recognized
in OpenSesame
I designed an experiment and the instructions need to be in Hebrew. However, OpenSesame does not seem to recognize the Hebrew characters. How can I let OpenSesame recognize them?

Hi Daxide,
Could you provide us some extra information? What operating system are you working with, and which version of OpenSesame are you using? OpenSesame should have support for hebrew by default as far as I know (or at least bidirectional text support).
Open Sesame 3 and 3.1 (both have the same issue). I use Windows 7 (64 bit)
Hi Davide,
Have you selected the
hebrewfont? You need to select a font that contains Hebrew characters, as explained here:Cheers,
Sebastiaan

I am sorry I do not see any font-selection dialog in the form text input (which is the form I am using). I see the font selection dialog only in the Sketchpad...
Forms use the default font for the experiment, which is specified in the General Properties tab. So you can select the
hebrewfont there. If you don't want to change the default font, for example because only part of the experiment uses Hebrew text, you can also specify the font for specific pieces of text like so:
