I just installed this, and coannot open it. I looked in the logfile and got this:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "opensesame", line 24, in
ImportError: No module named multiprocessing
Details! What operating system do you use, what version and package of OpenSesame did you install, and what logfile are you talking about?

Sorry for not giving enough details.
OS = Windows 10
Version = 3.1.4 (I've used previous versions without having this problem, from 2013 onward)
The program does not open at all. It states that an error occurred and directed me to look at a logfile under program files.
It must be some bug with my computer. I just tried reinstalling it again and it works fine. Sorry for the trouble.
is the sound record plugin available now? I am preparing yet another experiment which needs sound recording. If it does not, then I will still go for the version I have used before (2.0.7). Thanks!
ps. I think that sound recording is actually a very important feature for an experiment builder ... I would regard it as a priority feature to have.
@moreno
Yes, but you have to install it manually (i.e. not through
pip install

that's fab! thank you so much
Great work!
A minor point of feedback from user-friendliness perspective: When you Drag items from the Unused Items bin back to the top of the experiment sequence, the overview panel used to cycle to the top as well. Now, it seems that you need to drag it step by step to the top.
Perhaps an restore items option might be a solution?
You mean that the overview area doesn't scroll during drag'n'drop? That's true, although I'm not sure why it would ever have been different. (This is a property of the UI toolkit, not something that I explicitly implemented.)
What you could do instead is copy the item, and then paste it at the desired location.
