I figured it out! In variable view you can change the order of the conditions (so you do not change it in the raincloud module)

Are there perhaps other apps that can help me easily transform wide into long format? It seems that the linked app is no longer working, at least it isn't for me. The creater's page also gives a 404 code.

Hi EJ, That did indeed solve the issue. I didn't catch that JASP changed that variable to an ordinal one. It's a little odd as the data for that variable are numerals only. Kevin
-
Ah I overlooked the long format necessity. Thanks for helping me out and pointing me to the handy app!

I checked the thread, but doesn't seem to provide a solve to the issue (also checked the linked github thread there). I updated JASP (from 18 to 18.1) and then this problem popped up; perhaps it's somewhat relevant.

That would be great! Also, thanks so much for explaining!

Hi EJ, just wanted to check something real quick. In the note under the post hoc table it states "note. the posterior odds have been corrected for multiple testing by fixing to 0.5 the prior probability that the null hypothesis holds across al…

It took me a while to get back to this. I've read through the relevant parts of Tim's thesis, but it is not completely clear to me how I can calculate a corrected BF. Could you maybe explain to me how to do it for eyes moving vs. eyes fixed. Clearly…

Hi E.J., Thanks for your reply. However, as a pragmatic JASP user, I'm not sure how to interpret your answer, or how to report Cohen's Delta as an effect size. Do you think it's possible (in future versions of JASP) to have JASP produce a number as…

Hi E.J., Thanks for your quick reply! Do you mean I should send Richard Morey a direct email with this question? Kind regards, Kevin

I figured it out! Found an older version of OS that allowed me to get back my instructions :)
-
Hi EJ, I did yes. I specifically needed them for a mixed BANOVA, but I'll wait till it gets implemented
-
Hm, I thought I had this figured out, but I started reading about the 'Baws factor' (which it seems is an arbitrary term), but is implemented in the latest version of JASP under the 'Output' and then 'Effects' boxes. One of my reviewers argues that…

Just downloaded the latest version, but 'dependent' is still there. Also, how does this affect plots where there is a repeated measure factor?
-
Terribly sorry for the 'B )' that turned into the cool shades emoticon. This should be the text: When I perform a directional t-test in JASP ( A > B ) is the null then no difference ( A = B ) or its complement ( A <= B )? I know that in corre…

What I was wondering; is it accepted to add Group and Time as nuisance factors and then state that there is no support for an interaction, and then follow that up with describing the complete table?
-
I specifically expected an interaction between Group and Time, so to assess whether this is supported by the data I always need to compare it to the two main effects model (i.e., adding these as nuisance factors) and cannot compare it to a main effe…

Hi E.J., The model with the interaction is 1.25 better than a model with Time only. It's only better by a bit, but would you then conclude that there is support for an interaction? Or would you be more careful in stating this?
