[open] Mac Os bug?

edited October 2014 in OpenSesame

Hi,

I've been using OpenSesame for a few days without any kind of trouble on Mac Os Maverick. Suddenly, the interfacedturned weird (see picture). I've tried to install it again, different versions... no change whatsoever. Could someone please help me resolve this quite disturbing issue. Otherwise the software is truly amazing, I'd be disappointed if I'd had to stop using it.

Thanks,
Adam

    Hi Adam,

From your screenshot, it is clear that OpenSesame's custom icon theme (os-custom-icons) fails to load. All icons that are missing are part of that theme. I have no idea how this could have happened, but it's not fatal and there are two things that you could try:

    1. Open Tools → Preferences, change the icon theme, and restart OpenSesame.
    2. Start OpenSesame with the --start-clean command-line argument. I'm not sure how you can pass command-line arguments on Mac OS, but I'm sure it's possible and Google knows.

    Cheers!

The first solution worked, thanks a lot! I'm new to the software and didn't think about this. Keep doing such a good job!
