[open] Screen Orientation (tablet)

Hello,

I was just wondering if it was possible to run OpenSesame experiments in portrait, rather than landscape, orientation on a tablet? Is it as simple as just changing the resolution in the 'general properties' section, or does it require some code (if it is possible)?

Hi Charlotte,

The orientation is a fixed property of the app, so you would need to rebuild the OpenSesame runtime for Android with slightly different parameters to get things running in portrait mode. So: no, you cannot change this simply by changing the experiment resolution. But: yes, it is possible if you don't mind a bit of hacking. See also:
