[open] Accented letters

Hi,

Is there a way to type accented letters in either a form input or a get_key() function?

It seems that I cannot fully use my French keyboard layout. It is an AZERTY keyboard, regular letters and signs are OK, but "é" for example (under the 2 key) is replaced by "2". It should be "é" for a simple stroke, and "2" with a SHIFT+stroke combination.

Thanks for spotting this. I suspect it's the same issue as raised in this discussion, about input of Hebrew characters:

An issue has been filed here on GitHub (#280). It seems like a fairly fundamental problem, so it won't be fixed before 2.9.1.
