I'd like to try out pygaze on sentence and paragraph reading. Any tips on how to set that up to ease analysis? What's the best way to set up AOIs for letters/words/sentences/paragraphs?

    Hi,

This all depends on how you present the text, and how you plan to analyze the data afterwards.

Do you have the exact coordinates of where each letter is? Or do you simply text on a sketchpad, in which case you only know the center or top-left of the text (depending on whether you center the word or not)? And do you a have a specific software package that you plan on using for the analysis (which typically have some assumptions about how ROIs are coded), or are you going to write a custom analysis script (in which case you can do whatever is most convenient)?

    Cheers!
