AV false positives?

Hi everyone,
I am having a small issue- I use OpenSesame and share with collaborators, but we are having some issues with antivirus software classifying it as a trojan.

It is with the 2.9.2_win32 version. It looks like the installer gets one false (hopefully) positive with Jiangmin, see virustotal:

And the uninstall component with SuperAntispyware, see virustotal:

Any ideas what is going on? We have some older experiments that don't seem to work with newer versions.

    Hi,

Thanks for pointing this out. The possibility of a virus is always a concern. However, I've never heard reports of this file being infected, the build environment is clean, and when I just uploaded the file again to virustotal it was classified as safe by all viruscheckers, including Jiangming (which complained before).

So I think it's safe to assume that this was a false alarm!

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan
