[open] Problem with eye tribe and pygaze
Hi! first of all, want to apologize for my english, it's suck's but try to do my best.
i'm doing a experiment with the eye tribe and opensesame. Trying to do a visual world experiment, the problem is that when i start the routine that i write, after the calibration, need to do a drift check and that's when the experiment just stop, dont do anything more, it's frozen. First i think "maybe it's my experiment" and try to use a pygaze template, and happen exactly the same thing and dont know what to do. I'm using a computer with windows 8, maybe is the OS but want to do the question first. When i quit the template experiment of pygaze in opensesame, the debug window give me this :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSesame\openexp_sampler\legacy.py:72: FutureWarning: comparison to None will result in an elementwise object comparison in the future.
function not supported yet

The escape key was pressed."
Please help me!

To clearify, when i run bout experiment's (the custom and the template) in simple dummy mode, run perfectly!
Hi,
For me the EyeTribe works fine with PyGaze in OpenSesame, although there are still some rough edges. One thing that comes to mind is that the drift correction fails because the calibration is not good enough. That's one of those rough edges: When the fixation is not sufficiently accurate, the drift-correction function just hangs.
Could that be it? Do you get good calibration results?
(The messages that you see in the debug window are harmless; they are not the problem.)
Cheers!
Sebastiaan
