Opensesamerun in 3.1.1 command line bug?

edited July 2016 in OpenSesame

Hi Sebastian and co,

I was previously using a batch file to call opensesamerun and to specify the experiment location, subject number, logfile location, and to run full screen in OS 3.06 (as shown below).

'"C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSesame\opensesamerun.exe" "C:\Users\Joff\Documents\OneDrive for Business\1 University\0 PhD\Training Programmes\AVS\OpenSesame\practice.osexp" -s 99 -l "C:\Users\Joff\Documents\OneDrive for Business\1 University\0 PhD\Training Programmes\AVS\OpenSesame\7937" -f'

Using the same batch file in 3.1.1, opensesamerun is called but none of the command line options are specified (as if you were to open opensesamerun from the file explorer). Do you know if there is a quick fix for this, or would you recommend I revert back to 3.06?

Many thanks,
Joff

    Hi Joff,

That's correct--it's a known bug. What you can do to work around this for now is to call the opensesamerun.exe in the Scripts\ folder. So this:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSesame\opensesamerun.exe

    Becomes:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSesame\Scripts\opensesamerun.exe

We're currently working on this issue, and you can track it here.

    Cheers!
    Sebastiaan

Thanks, I'll check there in future if I spot a bug.
