[open] crash after n experiment runs

Hello,

we are currently testing different versions of our experiment. Open sesame crashes after the 2nd or at the latest the 3rd run of the experiment and does not respond anymore and we are not sure what the reason could be. We can solve the problem by quitting and restarting open sesame after each test, but still we were wondering if there is a general memory, cache or the like problem that could be solved.

Hi Christiane,

This is a known issue, that occurs under (largely) unpredictable circumstances. One factor that definitely triggers this error is the use of global in inline_scripts in combination with canvas objects. A possible solution is to run experiments in a separate process through opensesamerun. Please see this post for a more detailed explanation:
