Issues with opensesame installation in windows 8

Hello
I am using windows 8 on my 64 bit laptop, i tried all the versions of opensesame even with changing the compatibility settings. After the installation process gets finished, the application doesnot start it stops after 5- 10 seconds of processing. I always clear all the previously installed files before trying the next version. But results are same always. Please suggest the solution.

Ah, I see. To keep it central, I'll close the other discussion. Please post things related to that issues in this discussion.

  • What happens if you actually view this folder (C:\PROGRA~2\OPENSE~1\plugins\). Is it indeed empty?

  • No its not empty, has folders like advance_delay, boks and all till text_input.

  • I'm not sure what the problem is—I haven't seen it before. What happens if you download and extract the portable zip file ("Windows no installation required")? Can you run it that way? And if not, what error message do you get?
