Logger and Sequence Problem
Hey,
I just started using OpenSesame and tried to find help in the forum but I didn't find anything relating to my problems.
First, I created the first sequence of my "end-of-sentence speeded grammaticality judgment procedure". For that, I need to measure the responses from my participants. They should either press K for a sentence that is grammatically correct and F for a sentence that is wrong. Unfortunately, the logger item always shows a 0 and K as correct response, even if I press F. (see first screenshot from EXCEL) Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem, so that OpenSesame will present the keys that my particpants actually pressed?
Thank you in advance, I appreciate any help!!
Greetings,
Miriam

Hi Miriam,
The variable
correct_responseindicates which response would be correct, not which response was actually given. The response that was given is saved asresponse. However, I suspect that something else has gone wrong here, because your logfile contains only one row, and I don't see anyresponsevariable.Have you walked through the beginner tutorial? That should clear the basics up.
Cheers,
Sebastiaan

Thank you so much! I figured it out. But another problem occured: I now have my results (see file from excel). But unfortunately, I cannot see for which sentence the different results relate to. I set the order of the sentences (36 in total) to random, so I don't know which result refers to which sentence and I absolutely need that information.
Do I need to insert some variable to the logger or something like this?
Thanks in advance!
And now, it doesn't show me any valueable results anymore just: NONE
Could you upload the experiment here?
