[solved] Log file
Hello
I have recently started working with OpenSesame, and am very pleased with it especially the open source part of it ![]()
I do have a few questions I hoped you could answer for me.
Is it possible to make a grid for the logfile created by logger? By grid i mean a table, so that when you open it in excel it would automatically seperate the different variables in different colums and their associated values? As it is now the values are seperated by ",". This requires a bit of work to organize.
Second question. How accurate is the response time logging?
Thanks in advance!
Kind Regards
Bo A.

The log-files are in comma-separated format, which you can open in all commonly used spreadsheet. For Excel, see:
Also, you can use the Datamerger to convert the files to
.xls/.xlsxformat:Usually very accurate, but it depends on the hardware. There are some good references available:

It turned out it was my keyboard which was causing inaccurate timing. It is connected by bluetooth, so that explains alot and changing to mouse response gave down to 8ms accuracy.
And the excel import function helped sorting the data into columns and rows.
Super, consider it solved.
Thanks alot Sebastian :-)
Great! =D>
