[open] What item should I use to collect one or multiple responses answering 1 question?
In earlier experiments using OpenSesame, I have used a question to which people were asked to answer with a number ranging from 0 - 9. To do this I used a Text_display item with duration set to ''keypress''. Recently, in my field a new standard was set for this type of question, using an 11-point scale (0 - 10). As now I can no longer use a duration with keypress function (people should be able to give 10 as an answer) I have tried using a keyboard_response item with allowed response keys, but so far this is not working properly.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
Thanks!

You could try using a rating scale, for which functionality is provided via the form plugins: http://osdoc.cogsci.nl/forms/ratingscale-functions/
An example may be found here: http://osdoc.cogsci.nl/forms/custom-forms/#another-example
Good luck!
Hi Kim,
Like Edwin says, forms offer a lot more flexibility in collecting responses.
Another (trivial) solution would be to put a sticker with '10' written on it on the 0-key and a sticker with '0' written on it on the key left of the 1-key (i.e. the ` on a US int. QWERTY keyboard).
That way participant can just keep responding with a single key press.
Cheers!
