How to log the response time of finger tapping?

How to log the response time of finger tapping on a Fiber Optic Button Response Unit? I want to be able to record the time when a finger is tapped on the button response unit so that I can match the start of each tapping with the BOLD signal.

Hi,

Non-standard response devices (which device are you using exactly?) often require a device-specific library. In most cases, such a library is available for Python though, and hence you can use it also in OpenSesame. So I would first go the website of the manufacturer and then see if they provide some examples of how to use the device in Python. And from there you can see how to integrate it into OpenSesame.
