Random dots below text

Hi!

My experiment runs just fine, but there is an isue with the on-screen appearance. I have these random dots under some (not all) text in forms. It looks like some words are underlined with an interrupted line.

Any idea why this may be so? What could be a possible solution?

I attach a screenshot of the issue.

Hi Paula,

You're probably using the xpyriment backend, right? In some cases, there seems to be an issue with the upper line of pixels of a line of text being moved to the bottom line. A kind of wrap-around issue, if you see what I mean.

As a workaround, you could add an empty line of text above and below. Or use a different backend.

Yes, I am using xpyriment, but adding lines before and after the text helps.
