mkl_intel_thread.dll error

Hello OpenSesame community. I recently downloaded the last release of opensesame, on windows 10. I have an error message when I try to insert a loop object into my trial sequence: not able to load OpenSesame/library/bin/mkl_intel_thread.dll. The strabge thing is that when I insert all the other object into my trial sequence, it works perfectly.

When I check in the bin folder of opensesame, I cannot see the mkl_intel_thread.dll file.

What do you think I should do?

  • Hi Gian,

That file should exist. If it doesn't (in which case problems are to be expected), then my guess is that you have a virus scanner that (incorrectly) flagged this file as malicious and removed it. Could that be it? If so, then I would figure out how to convince the virus scanner to leave OpenSesame alone (like Britney), and then reinstall OpenSesame.

    Cheers!
