I have a question about saved JATOS results. When i convert to csv files.Mismatched problems occurred. I have no idea why this happened because these are formatted data. Is it because there were too many variables? Thanks.
Thank you so much for developing this awesome software.
Sorry for not expressing my question clearly. In the regular cvs file, each column is a variable and each row is a trial. Data were put well in corresponding columns on most of blocks. But in some blocks, some values were not put correctly in their columns (variables), seen as below. (maybe missing values?)
In the later blocks, it got normal again. This is not the case that every participant's data has such problems. Some participants' data were normal in the whole experiments. I found when only one participant ran the experiment, data were normal while several participants ran the experiments at the same time, it got abnormal. Attached is the example of abnormal .txt and .csv file.
If I convert the .txt file, I get a spreadsheet with 534 rows that seem complete (i.e. different from the .csv file that you attached). We have made some changes to how the data is logged and converted in recent versions of OSWeb, to avoid data loss. Are you running the latest version of OpenSesame (3.3.2 with OSWeb 1.3.8)? If not, I would upgrade and then convert the data again.

Hi Aisu,
It's not entirely clear to me what you mean with this:
Mismatched problems occurred
What exactly happens when you convert the JATOS data to
.csv, and in what sense doesn't it work as you expect it to?Cheers,
Sebastiaan

Hi Sebastiaan,
I converted the .txt file to .csv or .xls file successfully. Thank you for your help.
Best wishes,
