Attentional blink-images

Hello!

Is there any source or example of attentional blink paradigm with images instead of letters? I have read that other people previously asked for this issue on the forum but sometimes the links are broken.

I am trying to adapt it for a set of image stimuli but I just didn't get it.

Will you be running your experiment online or locally? And do you have some example stimuli (of distractors, T1 and T2)?

Hi Lotje,

The experiment is thought to be run online. We would like to run a rsvp of 16 filler images (landscapes) and one target (T1) (food or neutral object) on the centre of the screen. Finally, there will be distractors that will appear next to the filler image during the rsvp. The distractor will appear once  and 2-lag from the target always. 

For example:

1.landscape

2.landscape

3.landscape

4.landscape

5.landscape

6.landscape + distractor

7 landscape

8. target

The position of both target and distractor are counterbalanced across 3 positions.

Check out the last experiment posted there. That might give you a nice starting point to implement your own study.
