"Matplotlib error" when trying to add sequence into experiment

One of our students encountered a strange error when attempt to insert a sequence into an experiment.

"Matplotlib failed to acquire the following lock file" (screenshot below). They can work around it if they leave the error message up but reinstalling Open Sesame does not seem to remove the error message.

Hi @MikeN ,

That's a very odd error indeed. Could you post the entire error message? (The screenshot only shows part of it.) You (or your student) can find the full traceback in the console.
