OpenSesame freezes when interacting with inline script object
I just came across a strange bug where OpenSesame will freeze when I open an experiment file from the program and click on an existing inline script object (happens with both python and JS inline objects). However, this only happens if I first launch OpenSesame, and then open the experiment file from the program. If I open the experimental file directly from Windows, everything is fine, and the freeze doesnt occur.
Also, if I just run OpenSesame and create a new experiment, and then add a new inline script object, everything is fine. However, if I save my work and want to return to it, the freezing issue again occurs as described above.
I first noticed this with OpenSesame Version 3.3.7, but the problem persisted even when I did a full uninstall and then did a fresh installation of the latest version 3.3.10
Is there any way to fix this issue?
Thanks!

Hi @veskerm ,
That sounds odd indeed. A few questions:

Hi Sebastiaan,
When I click on the inline script object it becomes unresponsive for a few seconds, then it actually opens that object and becomes permanently unresponsive from that point on until I use task manager to close the program. Viewing the script of an existing object doesn't cause the freezing to occur.
The freezing also doesn't happen if as I said I first launch an experimental file, and then open another file from that instance of the program.
Additionally, if I have multiple instances of OpenSesame running at the same time and I trigger the freeze in one of them, the other one keeps running perfectly fine.
I tried disabling my firewall, but the freezing still occurs.
Its very strange!
A little bump here @sebastiaan. Should a github issue be filed?
@eduard I'm quite puzzled by this issue, but for now I've never encountered it myself, nor have I heard of other people experiencing this. So for now let's assume that this is something specific to the system of @veskerm, even though of course that doesn't explain at all what is happening ...
