[open] Runtime for Android
Hi, I have recently developed a Corsi blocks task using opensesame and hoped to run it on a hudl (which is apparently the same as the nexus 7) I've downloaded the runtime for android and changed my experiment backend to android. I then connected the huddle and moved my experiment to the SD card. Although I can run the practice experiments included in the app, I cannot get it to detect the experiment that I've loaded to the SD card. I have checked with a file explorer and you can see the experiment on the hudl. I'm really not sure where I'm going wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Katherine.

Hi Katherine,
The Android filesystem is a little bit confusing. Not because it's complicated, it's really not, but because it's mostly hidden from view. To make sure that OpenSesame for Android finds your experiment:
/sdcard/my_experiment.opensesameor/storage/sdcard0/my_experiment.opensesame.tar.gz, etc. You have to find this out using one of the Android file explorer apps./sdcardor/storage/sdcard0, etc. (So without the filename itself.) OpenSesame will try to autodetect the experiment folder, but in your case this probably fails, so you have to specify this manually and correctly.Cheers!
