Conjunctive Continuous Performance Task - feedback

edited February 2014 in OpenSesame

I've implemented Conjunctive Continuous Performance Task in OpenSesame and would be grateful for any feedback!

It's available here: https://github.com/NeuroanatomyAndConnectivity/ConjunctiveContinuousPerformanceTask

Thanks for sharing! Is there any type of feedback in particular that you're looking for? Does the experiment not work as it should? Or are you asking in general?

In any way: good to see people share their experiments! :)

    Hi Chris,

Based on a quick test run, it works very well! I was about to suggest that you make the instructions translatable. But then I noticed that they already are, so good job!

It might be interesting to add a page for 'standard tests' to the documentation site, where people can share experiments with high re-use potential, like this one. If I add a dummy page for this, would you be interested in adding some content about the CCPT?

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan

    Hi Chris,

A small update. I have added a documentation page to provide an overview of standard tasks. I added yours as well, but feel free to edit the description, etc.

    Cheers,
    Sebastiaan

  • Hello, I would like to use the CCPT, but I'm new to using OpenSesame. How do I go about running this task using v3.0.XX? Thanks.

  • Hi,

You could start doing one or two tutorials to get familiar with Opensesame:

Then, you can checkout the changes that were introduced with the 3.x.x releases.

And finally, you can try to adapt the code to fit your needs. In general, there should not be a lot to change. Opensesame 3.0 is often backwards compatible. So, if you're lucky, you won't need to change all that much. Just give it a try to run it, if it fails, use the error message and your newly acquired knowledge to solve the issues step by step. If you get stuck, let us know (with as much detail as necessasry) and we'll try to help you.

    Good luck,
    Eduard

    • Hello, I want to run this task myself. How do I import it from GitHub into my OpenSesame and run it?When I try to open the experiment file in OpenSesame I get this error: No module named 'libqtopensesame.items.text_display'. Thanks
