Fear conditioning Experiment
Good evening everyone.
I'm trying to build a classic affective conditioning experiment. Somewhere in between compared to IOWA gambling task.
I should present two rectangles in which two people's faces will appear. Each rectangle corresponds to a deck, made up of these faces. Each deck is likely to have a laugh or scream sound multiple times. All this to verify the conditioning procedure in terms of reaction times. Subjects should only determine where the stimulus appears, whether to the right or to the left by pressing the "c" (left) and "m" (right) keys on the keyboard.
I cannot make faces appear alternately, with their associated sounds to facilitate the conditioning procedure. I am not very familiar with the program, I can only perform rather simple tasks.
Has anyone ever created something like this?
Thanks for the help.
Andrea

Hi @Neuropsy_93 ,
To give concrete advice, you need to be much more specific! What are you trying to implement exactly (i.e. right now you provide a very generic explanation of the paradigm, but of course the devil is in the details)? What have you tried so far? And in what sense doesn't it work as you'd like it to?
Perhaps these questions are bit hard to answer right now. If so, then I would recommend first following these two tutorials, which also deal with pictures and sound. Hopefully that will provide you with a better starting point!
Good luck!
