MindProbe - data security?

I hope you are doing well :)
My colleague and I are looking to use MindProbe to host an online study, as recommended by another colleague of mine based in a different university. We are currently seeking ethics approval and have been asked by the ethics committee about data security - e.g., how it is protected. We will be using Java to build our online study and we will be collecting video recordings from participants (from which their faces will be visible).
On the MindProbe website, I can't seem to find very many details about this. I apologise in advance if it is a silly question but I was wondering if anyone here could help me find out more about how the data will be stored with no or limited access by other researchers?

Only the server admins of the Mindprobe server have access to your data - that are afaik 3 people. The JATOS server itself is hosted by DigitalOcean in Germany (a 'cloud' provider).
But if you want to have a more secure JATOS: you can always install it in your university's network (https://www.jatos.org/JATOS-on-a-server.html)

As @kri says, there are currently three MindProbe admins (@kri , @lvanderlinden , and me) who could in principle access data (although obviously we never do). For data that is highly privacy sensitive, such as video recordings of people, I would check with the privacy officer of your institution whether they are ok with the MindProbe Privacy and Ethics statement and the Terms of Use.
You could also consider encrypting the videos before uploading them in such a way that only you have the decryption key.
