[solved] specific response on mouse

Hi I'm new to opensesame. I'm trying to create a match-to-sample experiment and am having trouble figuring out how to configure a specific mouse response as the correct answer. Is there a way to do this, or a place to look?

Hi Muffy Martin,

This actually works the same way as for keyboard responses, but I did notice a bug just now: The button names (listed when you click on the blue help button in a mouse_response tab) don't work, only the numbers. So 'left_click' doesn't work, but '1' does. I filed a bug on this: https://github.com/smathot/OpenSesame/issues/71

In the tutorial you can find a detailed explanation of how to define correct responses for keyboard_response items. For mouse_response items it works the same way, but you need to know what the buttons are called:

• 1 = left_button
• 2 = middle_button
• 3 = right_button
• 4 = scroll_up
• 5 = scroll_down
