JATOS and Safari
In have as study that I am ready to distribute online. The study contains three tasks designed in OpenSesame.
I sent the links to my colleague, they were not able to start the task in neither Safari nore Chrome. I also use Chrome and it has gone well so far. But when I tried using Safari, the study loaded but it would not start, it was frozen on the first sketchpad and the audio did not start. In my mini tests Firefox and Edge work well.
Is there a know incompatibility with JATOS on Safari?
I use the JATOS server of an affiliated university and when I am on the webpage, it says Not Secure next to the address. Could this be related to the page not loading? Could the client security settings impact this? If yes, what are the possible ways of solving the issue? We would like to reach a wide range of participants and restricting people to specific browsers or asking them to modify their settings is going to impact our recruitment.
Here is the link if someone would like to try. http://uit-jatos-test.azurewebsites.net/publix/Z3OTZAJFl3Z
Thank you all!
