Adding keyboard responses substantially slows performance
Prior to adding in keyboard responses to our visual search experiment, the performance is fairly quick. However, after adding in the keyboard response item, the transition from trial to trial is slowed substantially. We have tried using different backend settings, however, it does not seem to help performance.

I suspect that this is not due to a performance issue, but rather due to either the experiment waiting for two key presses as explained at the end of step 6 in the beginner tutorial:
It could also be due to a timeout in a
keyboard_response. It's probably either of these two things, but without seeing the actual experiment it's difficult to say which!-- Sebastiaan
