Conditional Process Models in JASP - Question about the new module in 0.18.2 - 0.18.3

The text reports that "This project is a collaboration between the JASP Team and the Netherlands eScience Center."

Is more in-depth information available elsewhere about this module ? Or relevant scientific texts about the added value of the module compared to the popular PROCESS macro ? (not necessarily about the module, but about the functionalities).
