OpenSesame doesn't work in Mac

Hi,

I'm having trouble opening OpenSesame on my Mac (macOS Sierra, version 10.12.6, Intel Core i5). I followed the instructions provided in the article at this link (https://osdoc.cogsci.nl/3.2/download#mac-os) and successfully downloaded it. However, whenever I try to open the application, it immediately closes without any further action.

Why is this happening? What can I do?

Hi @Deni ,

The most common cause for OpenSesame not starting on Mac OS is that it is blocked by the security settings. You mention that you have followed the instructions from the linked article, so I suspect that's not it in your case, but do double check!

If you are sure that the application is not blocked, but really crashes for some reason. Then I would recommend installing OpenSesame through Anaconda, as explained here:
