Failed to convert Jatos data to .xlsx

Hi,

I collected some data with Jatos (Figure 1), but I could not use Opensesame to convert the downloaded data to .xlsx (Figure 2), in either of the data formats available on the platform. Dose anyone know what went wrong?

Hi @DDD ,

I suspect you're using an older version of OpenSesame / OSWeb, which had a bug when the data file contained non-ASCII characters, such as Chinese characters. Does the issue go away if you update? You can do this with the automated updater built into OpenSesame.
